Article: Star Wars: The Musicals?

I was in the TCNJ production of SW: The Musical. It ran almost 3 hours long (an act per movie) and had around 20 songs, all parodies of songs from real musicals. It definitely took a comedic spin on the classic Trilogy and had tons of laughs. The producers are afraid to post the rest on youtube because of the possible wrath of Lucas/Rogers and Hammerstein.
We nearly filled an entire 500 seat auditorium every night and it was a huge success. It was one of the most amazing theater experiences I've ever had and I've been involved with theater since I was a little.
And yes, that's a girl playing Luke. It had to be done with the talent we had, but she was great so it didn't matter. Also the guy who did Yoda did it better than Frank Oz, it was unbelievable.
But the people who made were in/made this play have seen this article and might be posting more songs soon. Keep your eye on the youtube...
