Even More Star Wars Strange Merchandise

Before we’ve listed in the past, some really odd merchandise from the Star Wars universe. Things that made you wonder what LucasFilms was thinking when they licensed it, so we thought we’d look again and see what other bizarre things there are.

Since it’s going to be Valentine’s Day in a few weeks, why not treat your sweetheart to these valentines from Star Wars: The Clone Wars? Yes, there is nothing like a personal love note from Anakin Skywalker to get those feelings a flowing, which is an odd choice, especially considering that Jedi aren’t supposed to fall in love, but then it didn’t stop him from getting with Padme. But I digress. Amazon has a full range of card sets available for the Clone Wars and the movies. Star Wars Valentines available at Amazon.com.

Bobbleheads are always fun and the joy never ends with one from the Star Wars Universe. Pretty much all of your favorites are represented as big headed figurines. There is Darth Vader, Storm Troopers, C-3PO, Minnie Mouse dressed as Leia, Chewbacca, Boba Fett, and even versions that sit on your computer monitor like Yoda. Get rid of that stress of that last minute report for your boss by shaking one of these guys. You’ll be glad you did.

Ever find that you’ve lost your keys and you don’t know where to find them? Well this item probably won’t help, but it’s a keychain of Darth Vader that actually breathes. Yes, it’s probably the first keychain with its own respirator. Just kidding, but it does sound like the heavy breathing that the Dark Lord of the Sith is cursed with. So next time want to prank your friends on the phone, you can put this up to the receiver and they’ll think it’s an obscene caller.

Remember when you were a kid, or maybe you still are, and loved Mr. Potato Head and Star Wars? Did you know that there is a way to mix those two great passions together without the bitter aftertaste? Well there is Darth Tater, Princess Tator (Leia), C3Potato, Chipbacca, Spuda Fett, Spud Trooper and even Masher Yoda and Artoo. All of them come with parts that you can interchange to change the look of the character. Princess Leia is the strangest one of this bunch, but I’ll admit. She has a peel.

Russian nesting dolls have always been a beautiful part of anyone’s homes, so nicely painted and rich in culture. And so too are the many nesting dolls from the mind of George Lucas. For those unaware of what a nesting doll is, they are a doll that opens up to reveal a smaller doll inside, which then opens up to reveal an even smaller doll. They can get much smaller, but the Star Wars ones seem to stop at an inside, a center doll and an outside, rather than five or six levels. Shadow Troopers, Boba and Jango Fett, Princess Leia and General Grievous are all represented. The Darth Vader one is particular interesting as it features the teenage Anakin as the center doll and the young boy Anakin as the smallest one. Unfortunately, this particular set may be quite difficult to find.

So there you have it, another installment of strange Star Wars Merchandise, for which we haven’t touched the surface.
