How much cash do you keep at home?

Do you usually feel it is important for you to leave a substantial amount of cash at home in case of any emergency that is going to require needing money to take care of it?

I don't think it's necessary because almost everything bills related can be paid online.

I am very careful with the amount of cash I keep at home. This is the reason why I don't keep more than 1,500 USD at home for any reason whatsoever.

I don't usually keep a lot of cash at home but I try as much as possible to keep at least between $2,000 to $5,000 at home. The reason why this amount of money is kept at home is in case of any emergency that is going to need a bigger sum of money.

All I know is that I keep enough money at home to help me run the daily expenses that I wouldn't need to be using my mobile bank application to do online.
