Disney is currently redoing their Star Tours rides to change them from 'Flight to Endor' to more of a pod race scenario. Given the way people perceive the first films, is this really the best idea, especially at this late date? It seems to me that the first three don't have the same staying power that the classic original trilogy. I just can't see these remaining popular for years like going down the trench of the Death Star is. What do you think? The new ride set to open next year will be at Disneyland and Disney World and probably the other parks as well.
