Darth Vader, anyone?

I love his portrayal in the episodes 4,5,6 directed by George Lucas himself. Those older ones are my personal favourite Star Wars movies too, much better than any of the newer ones made by Hollywood or Disney after that.

He was the father of my favorite character Luke Skywalker in Star Wars. He's a great introduction in the Star Wars franchise all round. You can't say anything about Star Wars without mentioning Darth Vader in it.

Yeah, everyone knows that, it's just that I personally prefer a lot more Darth Vader to Anakin Skywalker.

It's more like the connection he had with the Force as to how he was conceived. So, the power of the Force in him was part of what kept him alive. I might be wrong but that's the only thing that I can think of.
